A gorgeous, sweet older fellow looking for a new home in a bad economy...
I was brought to the shelter because my family can't care for me any more. I'm feeling pretty sad and scared right now, but volunteers at the shelter say I'm as sweet as I can be! They spent lots of time carrying me around and petting me, and I was just a big purring machine. UPDATE: I became so depressed about being deserted, that once I realized that my former dad wasn't coming back for me, I stopped eating and wanted to die. Foster meowmy wouldn't give up on me, though, and I'm now back to gaining weight and being perky again! 2nd UPDATE: Forrest has turned a corner, and is now a lap kitty! He spends every evening arguing with Cleo over who gets to spend lots of time in his foster meowmy's lap! Do you have a forever home where a senior citizen like Forrest can spend the rest of my days? Rescued in Austin, TX, and fostered there, too. (CS)
