Oscar decided he needed to be saved from the great outdoors in Sulphur, LA, so he chose Jesse Freeman to rescue him. Jesse can't keep him, but he wants to make sure Oscar finds a good home, so he contacted ASR for help. Jesse is a sweet, affectionate boy, but he is FIV+, so he needs a safe home inside where he can be loved and cared for. FIV+ cats are safe around other cats as long as they aren't aggressive with each other and don't exchange deep, penetrating bites. Many homes successfully intermingle FIV+ and FIV- cats, with no medical issues.
