Jake Blues was raised in a foster home from the time he was just a few days old, with his beautiful Russian Blue mother and his snowshoe brother, Elwood. Mother and brother were adopted over a year ago, but Jake has been with his foster mother ever since, enjoying playing with other foster kittens and the resident cats. Jake is rather small and slender, with a lean, athletic build. This active guy will need a special, dedicated adopter who enjoys the fact that he is very high energy, and is willing to spend time playing with him daily. This kitty can fetch a ball and return it all day long, and gets a bit fractious when he hasn't gotten his energy out through play. When he's not playing, he is also an excellent snuggler, and the world's best nap buddy. This is a curious, playful kitty who would be your constant companion, investigating everything, and happily greeting every visitor. He would probably be best as an only cat, since he can be rather assertive, especially with other males. Jake is a special guy, and his foster mother will miss him terribly when he has found his forever home, but will be so happy for him too!
