I want all your love to myself <3

Diamond is definitely a sparkly diamond in the rough.  She was surrendered to the Bastrop animal shelter, because her human mom got pregnant.  :-(  Poor thing.  She is having a bit of a hard time at her foster's house because this foster has SIX other cats.  Until this happened, she didn't even know she was a cat or had seen any others.  This has all been really shocking for her, and makes her very anxious.  She lashes out and likes to bite her foster mom, but does not try to break the skin. In the cat "biz", we call her an overstimulator.   If someone pushed her when she was in a mood, she might break the skin though. Therefore, she needs to go to an adopter with previous  cat experience that is patient and willing to work with her.  I honestly think she could break this habit, but it woud take awhile.  She would do best as an only kitty. Possibly a home with one other pet that is super easy going, and did not bother her.  She also would not be good around children, because of the bitey situation.  She can be affectionate though.  When she is in a carrier away from the other kitties, she wants her cheeks rubbed constantly.  Basically, her new adopters would need to be patient, because she needs some time and a lot of love.  Well, we all love diamonds though...don't we?
