Nichols and his twin brother Nathan must be adopted together Shame on me for saying so, but of this pair of twins, Nichols is the smart one. He measures distance before he jumps, inspects his food before he eats, and tests stability before he climbs. This caution is likely what kept him and his little brother alive while they were fending for themselves at such a young age. Understandably, he's taking his time warming to humans. But I can see the wheels in his little head turning as he weighs the possible dangers of playing featherstick against the pure, unadulterated delight (he chose featherstick). He watched wistfully while Nathan basked in belly rubs and ear scritches, finally coming in for a quick cuddle and then retreating to ponder this new experience. His brother is the extrovert, and Nichols is the contemplative child in the back of the room, quietly observing, taking notes and evaluating before making a fully-informed decision. In the very last photo in their profiles, can you guess which is which? Nichols has come so far already that I’m certain he’ll soon reward some lucky human with all of his love. His brother draws him out and they comfort each other, and their play is a joyous, acrobatic, synchronized dance of ridiculosity. These baby boys are gentle with their claws, do not play-bite, and their litterbox manners are perfect.
Nichols must be adopted with his brother, Nathan (adopted).
