Itsy is a super sweet five month old girl who was born in a feral colony in Austin. The caretaker has worked to socialize her and her siblilngs and her mom. Itsy is ready for a forever, inside home now. She really wants one before the weather turns cold and wet. Caretaker has not been able to bring her inside due to other pets in the home.
She is very playful. Enjoys toys that rattle and roll. She has a full grown black cat buddy and they play well together. She knows her name and comes when called. Likes to sit on a lap and will cuddle for 5 minutes at a time when she tires from playing with balls, string or kick toys. She also makes direct eye contact when cuddling. Was fond of being picked up and shoulder carried until she came home from the vet's office. We are working on getting those shoulder rides re-established but right now she won't stay for more than 5 seconds in that position.
History: She has four litter mates. All are outdoor kittens. Their Siamese mom was a superb caretaker who spent loads of time nurturing and playing with her litter. The lasting effect is that Siamese Mom's kittens are all easily socialized, sweet and even tempered. Itsy enjoys playing outdoors but has expressed curiosity about coming into my home. Unfortunately one of my other cats will not allow it.
Itsy will be available for adoption by 11/23 after she has been spayed.
