Jeremiah is a gorgeous, dark Seal Point Siamese with the most beautiful pale blue eyes. Jeremiah is 9 years old, which tecnically makes him a senior, but you would never know it by the way he acts. Jeremiah is very young at heart and is in amazing health. Nothing wrong with this big boy whose favorite activities are holding a conversation with you, following you around the house like a dog, and snuggling up to you at bedtime. Jeremiah also enjoys watching the birds from his window seat and pets from his person. In fact, he loves people so much, that he will call out to you if he can't find you. Jeremiah will allow you to pick him up, but he is not big on being held, as he would much rather just cuddle up right next to you and purr. Jeremiah lost the only home he ever knew when his previous owners lost their house in Houston due to Covid-19. He was reluctantly surrendered to Austin Siamese Rescue as they knew that we would find Jeremiah the best possible retirement home. Is that with you? Jeremiah is good with other cats, though he does tend to be Alpha in most situations. He is also fine with the two resident 75 lb. dogs. Jeremiah would be fine in a home with other cats and/or dogs or as an only pet, as long as you spend time with him. Jeremiah tends to get a bit needy if he is ignored for too long. Honestly, Jeremiah would be fine in just about any home, execpt for ones with children. Jeremiah tends to use his claws when being picked up and it might be a bit too much for children. Jeremiah is being fostered at a home in Austin,TX. Meet and Greets will be done via FB Messenger or Zoom call with approved adopters only. His adoption fee is $75.00. We know this wait can be frustrating but we are working hard to find great great homes for our cats.
