Gorgeous, Affectionate, Shy Boy

Frankie is an absolutely gorgeous, medium-haired, Blue Lynx-Point Birman mix kitty.  He is around 4 years old and very laid back.  This beautiful boy was found as a stray in Houston, TX. by a Good Samaritan who contacted Austin Siamese Rescue to take him in, which we gladly did.  Afterall, who could resist such a sweet floof? Once in his new foster home, Frankie began to blossom.  It was clear that Frankie had been someone's pet at one time and somehow landed on the streets all alone to fend for himself.  As such, Frankie is still a bit timid and shy, but he is feeling more confident every day.  And though it may take Frankie some time to warm up to you, once he does, he is an overly affectionate love bug.  In fact, Frankie loves to be pet and will rub up against you or head butt you for pets and scratches.  And when he's really happy, Frankie will roll over and show you his belly.  If you're lucky, he may even let you pet it.  

Frankie's best home would probably be in a female only home as an only pet, though he doesn't seem to mind other mellow cats who don't try to bully or chase him.  He is not a fan of dogs or children.  Frankie's biggest limitation is that he is still a bit timid and shy, especially around new people.   His confidence level is growing day by day, but he is still afraid of fast movements and loud noises.  He will need a patient, cat savvy adopter who will give him his space to come out of his shell and believe me, it will be well worth it.  Once he trusts you, Frankie is a sweet lover boy. And, although he is not a lap cat and hates being picked up, Frankie definitely loves to be around his human, snuggling and purring up a storm.

Frankie is being fostered at a home in Austin,TX.  Meet and Greets will be done via FB Messenger or Zoom call with approved adopters only. His adoption fee is $150.00.
