Hi There!  My name is Penelope. I am an absolutely stunning purebred sable Burmese kitty. I am around 2 years old and very friendly, curious, and playful.  I am current on all of my shots, am spayed, and am micro-chipped. Like my brother Balou, I have never been around children or dogs and have lived indoors only. I am quite adorable, don't you think? I enjoy being held and I LOVE sleeping on top of my brother Balou. And here's a little secret...we are well-traveled kitties. We have visited the beach and the east coast with our loved ones.  We have never been boarded and we have never been apart.  As such, Balou and I must be adopted together.  Do you have a forever place in your heart and your home for us?

This beautiful girl and her constant companion Balou were surrendered to Austin Siamese Rescue after one of their elderly caretakers passed away and the other was put into a nursing home in North Carolina.  No one in the family was able to keep them, so they asked ASR to help find them the purr-fect new forever home together.  Penelope and Balou's best home would probably be as only pets, as they are not used to kids, dogs, or other cats.

Penelope and Balou are being fostered at Tomlinson's in Westlake.  Please feel free to stop by anytime to visit them.  They love the attention.  Their adoption fee together is $150.00.
