I got to go home on a trial basis! Right before Christmas to boot! Paws crossed this works out for me.

Update on Fig: Now that he is over 6 months old, his personality is really coming out. Fig LOVES other cats. Loves to play. His ideal home with have 2+ cats. Fig is a talker. He "talks" when he can't find you and when you have food (he is very food motivated). Fig loves toys and soft blankets. We have learned from seeing him interact with folks, he will be shy at first. When I left for a few weeks it took the petsitter about 3 days to to become friends with Fig (my own cat is like this but always warms up once he gets to know people). Fig is super easy to medicate, put flea medicine on, etc.  For more info. on this special black panther of a kitty, please see below.

Sadly for me, a dog killed my mother when I was very tiny. The Good Sam who found me and my siblings had no clue our mother even had kittens until he spotted us days later under a shed. Lucky for us, he put out a plea for help and our foster mom (who does TNR) showed up and rescued all of us! I LIVE to eat and play! I LOVE LOVE LOVE other cats, especially older ones who will groom me and baby me.

All of my siblings have been adopted, hoping it is my turn soon.  Foster mom says it takes a while for black kittens to get adopted, but someone special will come along and fall in love with me.

Fig is a purr machine. He is full of life and LOVES to run, chase and play! He is very active and loves scratching posts and scratchers. Because he is so social, he MUST go to a home that has another resident cat. He loves playing with Annie here - would love to see them together.

Foster mom has some guidelines - she does not adopt to folks under 25 and prefers a house to an apartment. She is picky but has done this so long,  it is just what she prefers.
