Helllo my name is Ifrit. I was named for a mischievous fire Jinn from Arabic & Islamic folklore. I do know my name BUT at my age it would be easy to change it.
I was born second of two kittens to Terra who was found by my Foster Mom's child in the Georgetown Target parking lot one day when she went to work there. My cat Mom is also in need of a forever home and is listed here on my page so you can check her out as well. We're currently very bonded and I still seek her out for comfort but we do not have to be adopted together (but that would be neat if I could have her with me). I'm due for my spay surgery on April 12th so everything including vaccinations, microchip and spay will be complete and I'll be available on April 15th. If you know about yellow (or red) Tabby cats they are about 75% male so being a female makes me pretty special. I'm a very intense red color but I have some white facial stripes and a white chin and muzzle with little red "freckles" by the base of my whiskers. I have huge golden eyes and when I get excited I look a bit like a little Lemur. I'm still VERY much a kitten and I love to play and explore. I like other kitties and if they hiss at me I just leave them alone. I'm an affectionate, sweet baby that loves to sleep on my Foster Mom's legs when she takes a nap. I have no health issues. Won't you please consider making me your BFF? I have lots of love and joy to give! Contact my Foster Mom or put in an adoption application if you're interested in me and we can set up a meet-up so you can play with me and see me in action. IF you would rather not do a personal contact meeting until you need to pick me up then just ask my Foster Mom for a video of me!
