Scarlet O'Hara reincarnated as a cat
Habanero is a very spicy kitten.  She, along with her 4 litermates, were discovered dumped by the side of the road.  Habenero was and is the largest and healthiest of the batch.  Aside from carrying a heavy parasite load (taken care of) she was in great shape.  If she was a character in a movie this kitten would definitely be Scarlet O'Hara--her motto is "As God is my witness, I will never be hungry again"!  She will plow through anyone and anything to get to a dish of wet food.  Habie definitely considers herself the boss and communicates her desires with no hesitation whatsoever.  If you are doing something she doesn't like she grumbles away.  If the food is out she lets you know that she should be fed first.  If she wants a pet she will present her belly (very large and round) and look you in the eye.  Her spicy attitude was obvious from the beginning.  Three kittens were discovered together in a little huddle.  One came towards me, one ran away, and Habanero just looked at me and held her ground.  Beware--ruling your household will be just the first step in her quest for world dominance.  These babies are so adorable that when I took them in for their first vaccinations my vet asked if she could take them home for her three small children to play with.  Apparently Habie is the favorite of one of her sons because she is the most outgoing, confident, and verbal.
