Spicy but sweet
Jalapeno is the perfect combination of energy and affection.  She wrestles and chases and plays with her siblings--holding her own with her biggest sibling Habenero.  However, Jalapeno is equally happy to sit in your lap and cuddle.  She had a slight eye infection when discovered and still has some staining in the white fur around that eye so she isn't looking her best.  Most kittens strenuously object to receiving ointment in their eyes but this sweetheart is perfect.  She sits quietly while being medicated and then remains in my lap for a cuddle.  Jallie loves to have her eye wiped with a warm washcloth--she actually moves her head around so you can wipe her whole head, and if you want to move on to the rest of her body, she appreciates that as well.  She even gives sweet little kitty kisses while she cuddles.  Jallie seems like the calmest kitten imaginable until she is placed on the floor with her rowdy siblings and then she becomes a whirlwind of activity  Hard to believe it is the same kitten!!!  She, along with her 4 litermates, were discovered dumped by the side of the road.  Jalepeno and her sister Pimento were out on the street for 3 days longer than Habenera, Serrano, and Poblano.  The whole neighborhood was on the lookout for Mento because she was spotted when the first three were scooped up, but Pimento eluded capture.  Happily, on the third day, she was spotted again by the kitten posse, and rounded up along with Jalepeno--who was a bonus nobody knew about.  It is clear these kittens grew up with people who loved and spent time with them but for some reason couldn't keep them.  These babies are so adorable that when I took them in for their first vaccinations my vet asked if she could take them home for her three small children to play with.  They are presently being socialized with children, strange cats, and a busy household.  It should be an easy transition into your home--especially if she can take a littermate home with them.
