Kitten season has arrived, and for Austin Siamese Rescue, that means an influx of the most vulnerable lives we care for all year. From March through Thanksgiving, we take in kittens at every stage, some healthy, but many underweight, sick, or in need of extra support
Before they’re ready for adoption, these tiny kittens require time, medical care, and a whole lot of love to grow strong and healthy.
To help us prepare, we’re hosting a Kitten Shower all month long in May! Just like a baby shower, this is a chance for our community to “shower” our foster kittens with the essential supplies they need to heal and thrive.
From formula and kitten food to litter, medications, and cleaning supplies, every item directly supports the care of a kitten in need.

Fostering is vital to Austin Siamese Rescue’s mission. By providing a temporary home, you offer a safe haven for cats coming from shelters, abandoned, or neglectful situations or as a Volunteer you help us with administrative duties that are vital for our organization to run smoothly.
Your role as a foster/volunteer is crucial in giving these cats a second chance at a happy life.
